Habits and routines are great for mental health! You probably already have many routines for your day without even realizing it. They help to alleviate anxiety by taking many small decisions off your plate each day. But some habits are not healthy. Instead of resolutions for the new year, consider adding or tweaking your current daily habits and routines to get you closer to your goals. Instead of a resolutions like "Getting healthier", change your morning habitual breakfast to a piece of fruit. Or instead of your habit of plopping down in the recliner after work, consider habitually going to the gym for a half hour after work on Tuesday's and Thursdays. And if you need help, maybe make a habit of talking to your therapist once a month for a basic check-in. Call 316.652.2590 to make an appointment. https://lnkd.in/g_cpPpmY

Our last #ProjectChangeLives container of 2024 went out yesterday to our friends at Building Controls and Services, Inc.! These over two dozen containers around Wichita passively collect loose change from your staff and customers to support mental health all year long, and we are so grateful to all our partners! Don't worry though...we have more containers to deliver in 2025, so drop a note to donate@mhasck.org to request yours today! https://lnkd.in/gPZc57Ha

If you are one of the many customers who utilize the services of our friends at Skyward Credit Union, you have likely seen this postcard. Skyward is directing their charitable giving this year to four deserving non-profits who need your support, and we thank them for including MHA in this initiative!
