🌟 January is National Mentoring Month—a time to celebrate the transformative power of mentoring! At MENTOR Nebraska, we’re taking action to close the mentoring gap for the 1 in 3 Nebraskans growing up without a mentor. Here’s how we’re celebrating this month 👇 ❤️ Statewide Mentor Recruitment: Launching billboards, providing grants to partner mentoring programs to expand their reach, and leading a media campaign to recruit mentors across Nebraska. ❤️ Everyday Mentoring Training: Offering a no-cost training to help adults incorporate mentoring into their daily interactions with youth. ❤️ Workplace Mentoring Lunch & Learn: Hosting a training at the Greater Omaha Chamber to expand workplace mentoring opportunities. ❤️ Governor's Press Conference: Celebrating mentors alongside the Governor as we officially proclaim January as National Mentoring Month! ❤️ Capitol Hill Day: Advocating for youth mentoring legislation in Washington D.C. ❤️ Mentoring First Friday: Connecting mentoring professionals over coffee at Astute Coffee. 💬 We want to hear from you!
