Happy Hanukkah! We’re celebrating the unique traditions that bring light and joy to the season. Mercy co-worker David Levy shared a glimpse into his family’s Hanukkah celebrations: “When my wife and I got married, we couldn’t choose which of our menorahs to light—they were all so special to us. So, we lit them all! That’s when we discovered that the time it took for the candles to burn down matched the length of a Scrabble game. Over the years, we’ve grown our collection of menorahs but have settled on lighting nine—one for each night of Hanukkah, plus the Shamas, or ‘helper candle.’ Another favorite tradition is our latke party! Whether it’s a large gathering or just the five of us, everyone pitches in—peeling potatoes, grating onions, and debating whether latkes taste best with sour cream, applesauce, or a mix of both.” Thank you, David, for sharing your family’s traditions. Wishing everyone celebrating a Happy Hanukkah filled with warmth and joy!

Winter is here, and that means Bob Langston, APRN, is busy knitting his #HatsForHope! What started out as a hobby soon became a passion for Bob and the entire staff at Mercy Clinic Primary Care — Hope Campus in Fort Smith. The hats are now very popular among patients at the clinic, which often provides care for the homeless. #MercyFortSmith #CommunityCare https://ow.ly/GcVl50Uw2X2
