Congratulations to 𝗟𝗲𝘅𝗶 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀, our 2024 Summer Seasonal Spotlight Winner! Lexi has been a key member of the restaurant staff for the past two years. Team Merion recently hosted its 2nd annual employee golf outing at the West Course. This event allows team members to connect further while enjoying a fun afternoon on the golf course. A variety of employees from our Golf, Food & Beverage, Green, and Administration departments participated in this year’s outing.

Merion Golf Club is excited to welcome our summer interns for the 2024 season. The Club is dedicated to the development of industry talent across departments, including Golf, Green, Culinary, Restaurant, and Banquet. Depending on each individual student’s experience level, career goals, and individual interests, there is something for everyone. All Merion interns will actively contribute to our goal to offer an exceptional club experience to our membership by providing familial service. In addition to hands-on training in their respective fields of interest, Merion’s interns come together monthly for All-Intern sessions that give them the opportunity to interact with each other and Club leadership while learning about Club operations, financials, and other interesting topics.

Congratulations to Lead Instructor 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐈𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨, who represented Merion in the 2024 Philadelphia PGA Spring Pro-Pro at Atlantic City Country Club on Monday! Nick paired with Anthony Sebastianelli and tied for first in the field of 66 teams, comprised of Golf Professionals across the Philadelphia area. The duo posted a 7-under-par round of 63 that included seven birdies under four-ball, better ball of partners format.

Congratulations to Merion team member 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 on his recent promotion to 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭!   Billy joined Team Merion in February from his most recent position as Assistant Superintendent at West Chester Country Club where he had been for nearly two years. He also spent the off-season as Assistant Superintendent at Bel Air Country Club. We are proud to have Billy join the Green Management team.

Congratulations to Merion team members Tom Kesaris, Peggy Towell, and Jason Reinert on their recent promotions!   𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐊𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬, 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝, has been a key member of the West team for nearly 25 years. Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, and traveling.   𝐏𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫, has been a vital member of the Food & Beverage team for over 18 years and is also a member of the Employee Engagement Committee. Peggy enjoys spending time with her family and traveling outside of work.   𝐉𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐭, 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫, joined the Merion team in 2023 as a Manager-in-Training after graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. We are proud to have him stay with the team in this new role.
