National Adoption Month: Celebrating Mesa Families Today, we’re excited to share the inspiring story of Business Development Director Kyle Cahenzli. "I was born on September 9, 1987, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My adoptive parents, Mark and Laura Cahenzli, received a call about me while they were in the process of adopting." Kyle grew up in Farmington and Carlsbad, New Mexico, always aware of his adoption. Years later, he felt ready to connect with his biological family. With encouragement from his wife and the help of ancestry services, Kyle found his biological sister and has since reconnected with her. He also discovered a brother and his biological grandmother. "This journey of uniting our families has been incredible, and the acceptance from my biological family has been heartwarming." October’s Wellness & Philanthropy We are thrilled to share how our information technology team embraced wellness and philanthropy last month. This team found a perfect balance between walking and hitting the gym for weights. They are big-time walkers, even going on group walks during work breaks! Over the 28-day challenge: - The top three walkers logged an impressive 52, 61, and 70 miles each. - One participant even squeezed in a 10-mile hike while hunting! Almost half of their earned dollars came from volunteering. The charity they chose to donate to is Hearts and Horses Therapeutic Riding Center in Loveland, Colorado. Way to go, Team October!
