As we look back on 2024, we realize that this year has been a transformative and pivotal year in our mission to provide, scaled, high-temperature super conductors (HTS) to the World. Here is a short recap of just a few of the major milestones and achievements that the MetOx International team delivered this year! 🚀 Official Startup of MetOx Line 1 Facility: Celebrated the inauguration of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas, marking a pivotal moment for Xeus™ HTS wire technology in the U.S. 🏆 $80M DOE Funding for Project Arch: Awarded by the U.S. Department of Energy to establish the first large-scale HTS wire production facility in the U.S. 🎉 $40M Series B Extension: Secured funding from an amazing syndicate of investors to accelerate the scale-up of our Xeus™ HTS wire technology. 🍾 $2M Investment from Elemental Impact: Welcomed a strategic investment aimed at expanding our Houston and enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities. 👍 Secured up to $9M from the State of North Carolina: In partnership with the State of North Carolina and Chatham County, we’ve secured our location for future expansion. 😎 Secured & launched $3M : Innovation funding from ARPA-E to advance next-generation HTS technology was launched. 🤝 Customer & Partners: We’ve provided 50+ tours of our manufacturing facility with customers and partners. 🌎 Industry Events: We’ve attended numerous industry events, engaging at a technical leadership level with our customers and partners, to ensure a path to scale our delivery of HTS. 💡 Celebrated Manufacturing Day 2024: Highlighting modern manufacturing innovations and our contributions to the industry. ⚡ Celebrated International Women in Engineering Day 2024: Supporting diversity in technology and engineering fields. 💯 Community Engagement: As part of our 2024 giving campaign our team provided donations to the local food bank and B.E.A.R. in the Houston community. We also sponsored MAES at the University of Houston – An organization focused on developing Latinos and in science and engineering. We partnered with Atlas Scholars to provide mentorship and engagement for high school students in STEM related fields. 📣 Team – Last, (but certainly not least)in 2024 we added over 40 employees to the MetOx team – we’ve focused on building a strong technology/R&D team, backed by a world class production and operations team. We are so proud of the people that come to work every day to make MetOx better and deliver to our customers! As we move forward, we remain dedicated to revolutionizing high-temperature superconducting technology and delivering to critical energy and infrastructure technologies.
