Yesterday, the Michigan State Senate voted in favor of HB 4630, advancing this critical legislation with a newly added amendment. The bill returns to the Michigan State House for a final vote before reaching Governor Whitmer’s desk. HB 4630 ensures young people navigating the justice system have access to quality defense, safeguarding their rights and promoting justice.
