With childhood anxiety at an all-time high, it's imperative to present upsetting news to our children in a safe, supportive, age-appropriate manner. This is a HUGE shout-out to ALL the microschool founders who are operating in states without school choice funding; to those who are seeking, striving, and sacrificially meeting the needs of students who are often overlooked and underserved in well-funded schools that operate in the same community. These founders hustle hard, and are continuously lifting other founders by philanthropically sharing tales of their hard-fought and hard won victories and failures, usually without any compensation for professional consulting. They use every ounce of their free time and energy to advocate for school choice funding and microschool awareness, clinging to hope the future will offer more opportunities than the present for all children. As the end of this school approaches, we celebrate and salute YOU, our microschool founder warriors, who continue to fight for and continue to strive for innovative educational opportunities. You are heroes, and we passionately believe history will accurately identify you as the trailblazers you are!
