We are thrilled to be a part of SSM Health's groundbreaking journey in data-driven healthcare. Over the past eight years, we've worked closely with SSM Health to tackle the unique challenges of integrating data from multiple sources across different states. Darrin Dahl, the Product Owner of Value-Based Care and Finance at SSM Health, highlights how our partnership has enabled them to seamlessly integrate EMR data streams with a variety of other data sources. This collaboration has led to the creation of a flexible and robust data mart, which is now being leveraged for valuable insights and opportunities across the organization. 💡 Darrin describes our partnership as "an extension" of the SSM Health team, emphasizing how our expertise in claims and eligibility data, along with our advanced algorithms and risk modeling, has been instrumental in building the mature data infrastructure essential for success in value-based care. ▶️ Full video: https://bit.ly/411wpL0 #HealthcareInnovation #DataIntegration #ValueBasedCare #VBC #HealthTech #DigitalTransformation

How can we better understand and address the unique needs of providers treating Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) to improve patient outcomes? SCD is a common genetic disorder that disproportionately affects racial and ethnic minorities in the U.S., significantly impacting their quality of life and life expectancy. Recent breakthroughs in gene therapy offer potential cures, but access remains a significant challenge. To address these issues, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) has introduced the Cell and Gene Therapy Access Model, a state-based alternative payment model for SCD gene therapies. Our new white paper provides a high-level overview of the SCD landscape and the providers treating it, leveraging Milliman’s data assets. 👉 Download the white paper here: https://bit.ly/4jvIWia Authors: Brittany Schock Robert Richards, PhD Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services #SickleCellDisease #GeneTherapy #CMMI #CMS #HealthcareInnovation #HealthEquity
