Mills Compounding Pharmacy is now formulating oral sublingual semaglutide for weight management. Sublingual administration routes bypass the GI tract and liver allowing the medication to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. The sublingual suspension is formulated to have greater permeability properties and is expected to provide increased drug absorption and contact time than traditional tablets.
