In today’s data-driven marketing landscape, personalization is everything. Businesses that don’t personalize their marketing and sales outreach end up falling behind. Creating personalized content is a feat that sounds much easier than it actually is. One major reason brands have difficulties with personalization is team silos, especially between sales and marketing. These two teams are both integral to lead generation, qualification, and conversion, but a misalignment in each team’s interpretation of a best-fit lead can cause significant delays in the sales cycle and result in low ROI. Account based marketing (ABM) is a B2B business strategy aimed at aligning sales and marketing to help these teams target best-fit, high-value accounts. In ABM, all marketing and sales efforts are tailored to feel highly relevant to all existing clients and best-fit prospects. ABM, especially when paired with another organizational alignment strategy like RevOps, is highly effective at driving business growth. Learn how RevOps and ABM strategies can combine to create an ideal customer experience and make the most of company time. - - - #ABM #accountbasedmarketing #revenueoperation

Scaling business operations doesn't always entail increasing headcount significantly, but as you manage more customers and larger systems, you'll face a more pressing need to integrate your data sources. Here are some quick tips for scaling your business operations through digital transformation: ✏️Integrate your data systems. Ensure all your data analytics can converge in one shared space for more timely insights. ✏️Consolidate your resources. From CRMs to sales prospecting to email marketing, you may find your functionality is spreading out more and more as your business grows. Do an audit of all of your tools, how much they cost, and what benefits they offer, and see if there is any overlap in features. ✏️Automate. Choose tools with automation features that help you follow up with customers in a timely manner, and can take over some repetitive data management tasks to save your teams time. In short, to scale effectively, automate and integrate. - - - #digitaltransformation #automation #integration

You spend hours crafting your customer survey, you finally hit “send” and… nothing. Hardly anyone fills it out. How could this happen? Why do surveys frequently suffer from low response rates? The answer can be found in anything from the wording of the questions, the length, or the audience you’re sending it to. Consistent low response rates, especially when combined with other underperforming metrics, may even point to a larger CX issue. How can you determine why your survey isn’t performing as expected, and address the issue to boost your response rate? - - - #NPS #customersatisfaction #survey

Why does it matter if your marketing content creation tools and analytics are housed within the same system? Marketing decisions should be fueled by data, but the analytics that marketing teams have access to can sometimes be lacking. The entire point of marketing is to drive conversions, but marketing teams may not always have the best idea of how their campaigns are performing, since they have to deal with siloed, inaccessible, or outdated data systems. Content management systems that offer tools for both creating marketing materials and monitoring their performance allow marketing teams to consistently keep up with conversion data and make data-driven decisions. This is another reason why integrated CRM/CMS platforms like HubSpot help companies excel. - - - #digitalmarketing #marketingstrategy #contentmanagementsystem

We've said it once and we'll say it again: Isolated, scattered systems lead to poorer outcomes for pretty much every business initiative, process, and lead gen campaign. In today's tech-reliant world, integrations are the glue that hold company tech stacks together, and the driving force behind an organization's ability to make data-driven decisions. Integrated systems are especially vital for sales teams, because without a data-driven sales strategy, sales pros may end up treading water and losing deals. All-in-one CRM systems that offer communication tools alongside the customer database help salespeople provide the best experience to customers, and manage their time effectively by targeting only the best-fit, highest-value deals. - - - #salesstrategy #salesefficiency

👉 ICYMI: Mind & Metrics CEO Lica Wouters kicked off #worldcertificationweek with a discussion about programming and development in the HubSpot ecosystem, and how certifications can help you take your skills to the next level. Wondering if certifications or accreditations matter for career progression? Want to know about some of the cool things Lica has been working on recently? The recording of the panel will be available in HubSpot Academy. #WCW2024
The panel we just had (👀 World Certification Week) was ace. We chatted about certifications for development in the HubSpot ecosystem. We talked about old and new programming languages and and the more recent things we are most happy and proud of having done... 👀 Such as creating CPQ tools, product directories using Custom Objects, HubDB, and CRM extensions that are becoming increasingly popular. 🐞 We agreed that bugs and errors are unavoidable. It's not about fixing every issue, but dealing with them when they come up. This reminded me of a book I read called Test Driven Development which tackled bugs from the start. Also you can't always strive for perfection; you need to launch your product. 👩🏻💻 We also discussed job interviews for programmers and how they can be intense. When evaluating a candidate, it's important to understand their thinking and problem-solving abilities as they'll need to learn specific tech for their project. ✅ Certifications make us feel proud and help us learn new skills through practical exercises. They also create a new level of understanding with others. Being certified helps you progress in your career and have more productive conversations in the community. 💻 When hiring, I'd prefer someone who's certified because they'll have the skills needed to hit the ground running. If you're not clued up on HubSpot, we're gonna waste time, no matter how ace you are at programming languages you are. 👊 Programming can be a proper engaging hobby – it's like solving puzzles or even rock climbing! So if you fancy diving into the world of development, make sure you set aside some time each week to learn new stuff. 📍 Some folks recommend using online tools like CodePen or HubSpot, but I reckon setting up your own local development environment is the way to go. Trust me, it's worth it in the long run! 📆 As for certifications, get cracking ASAP. Use them to figure out what you don't know and create a game plan. Hubl? HTML? CSS? Serverless? Pop it in your calendar and start learning! 🔥 Accreditations are hard (as I can tell from experience) But they help clients see the value in what you do. So let's spread the word and make the whole ecosystem better. Big thanks to Brooke Fisher Bond, Lica Wouters, Andrea Arestigue, Chris Knowles and everyone who was there for a cracking chat! Here's hoping we do it again soon. #hubspotacademy #developercertifications #alwaysbelearning #hubspotcrm

Account-based marketing is rising in popularity as an effective B2B sales strategy made to increase ROI by driving operational efficiency. As opposed to old-hat sales strategies, which are essentially a numbers game defined by minimal-to-no targeting and widespread cold calling, ABM focuses the energy of marketing and sales teams on finding and retaining high-value accounts. What does an ABM strategy entail and how does it help businesses drive growth? - - - #ABM #salesstrategy #accountbasedmarketing

Cold calling is a necessary aspect of sales outreach, but it’s often dreaded by salespeople due to its low success rate - around 2%. Common wisdom states that in order to combat low conversions, salespeople should pour more energy into cold calling, increasing their number of calls per day. But is there a better way? Account based marketing, or ABM, is a B2B business strategy made to connect sales and marketing efforts with best-fit customers. In ABM, sales and marketing teams collaborate to tailor all communications to fit their target market. All content is designed to personally resonate with all existing clients and best-fit prospects. When marketing is bringing in qualified leads that are likely to convert, salespeople can focus their efforts on closing more deals, rather than spending additional hours on cold outreach. ABM, especially when paired with another organizational alignment strategy like RevOps, increases efficiency and ROI, allowing salespeople to cut down on the cold-calling grind and use their time wisely. Learn how your company can use ABM and RevOps to increase customer satisfaction and conversion rate. - - - #ABM #accountbasedmarketing #revenueoperations

Consumers today don't have the patience for poor or slow customer service, and who can blame them? If you've ever tried to contact a company you've purchased from about an issue, and you felt their response was lacking due to… 👎Slow response time; the company took days or even weeks to respond 👎Long phone wait times; you were put on hold for hours 👎Unhelpful agents; the first agent you spoke to couldn’t resolve your issue, so you had to cycle through multiple agents over multiple days …you understand how frustrating it can be to feel like your issue isn’t important to a company. Many of us are pressed for time, and even if you do have some free time, do you really want to spend it repeating yourself to faceless strangers or a bot on live chat, just to get your money back for an unsatisfactory purchase? Poor customer experiences are often the result of disorganization on a company's back-end. Scattered customer data and the use of multiple, unintegrated systems (Helpdesk software vs. CRM vs. chatbot) leads to confused customer service staff and frustrated customers. The solution is unified CS platforms that offer a holistic view of a customer's journey with your company. - - - #customerexperience #customerservice #CX
