MHA recently recognized HealthPartners for their Perinatal Partner Program. Piloted in late 2023 at their Woodbury and Park Nicollet Brookdale clinics, the program connects Black patients and families with an OB-GYN team member who provides support, education, and resources to help patients achieve optimal health goals.

High blood pressure disorders affect one in seven patients during pregnancy or after delivery, leading to an increased risk of dangerous complications that can include stroke, heart failure, and seizures. To combat this, @M Health Fairview launched the HOPE-BP program, which provides new mothers diagnosed with high blood pressure disorders in pregnancy equipment to monitor and report their blood pressure from home for six weeks after delivery.
