Congratulations Marisa Barron!!!

The Mississippi Braves last game was Sunday. Growing up in Pearl, the Braves played a huge role in my life. I attended my first game in 2010, and as an eager 16-year-old, I started my first job with the team in 2019. I was fortunate to be with them during their second championship in 2021 and their final game this past Sunday. As I reflect, I can't help but feel immense gratitude. These past five years have been filled with unforgettable memories, meaningful connections, and friendships that will last beyond the ballpark. It has truly been an honor to be part of this team and to learn and grow with the Mississippi Braves. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so special. Here's to the next chapter!

The Mississippi Braves are over. I've said all the words the last few weeks, so not much else to say. This chapter gave me my first championship (2021, AA South), made me a World Series champion (thanks, Atlanta Braves), and gave me countless new friends and memories. I've said all year that I'd make this season a "love letter to Mississippi" and these blue jerseys were the epitome of it. I can't believe the team saw that vision and chose to wear them tonight as they played our final game. To those who have supported me, worked with me, cared for me, and loved me over this chapter, THANK YOU. To the Atlanta Braves, thank you for being such a great partner and providing us with players and staff who see what community means. To Diamond Baseball Holdings, thank you for giving me tools that made each and every day at the ballpark a new experience for fans and for what you invested to help me develop personally. To my co-workers, well done. You deserve to be celebrated. To our fans, you gave me such a thrill every time you shared your story and your life with me. Thanks for spending your time and money at Trustmark Park. I'll have more info about what's next for me soon, but tonight? Tonight I bid you adieu. Farewell to the Mississippi Braves. You were one heck of a story.

The final home game in Mississippi Braves history will be on Sunday, Sept. 8. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Commemorative Coin, which features Trustmark Park and pennants for the two previous league championships in club history. You never know what will happen when you come to a Mississippi Braves game. 14-year-old Pierce Gilbert from Little Rock, MS, brought a sign that read, "I'm an aspiring broadcaster. Can I please call 1 inning in the booth? It would be a dream come true." Well, Voice of the M-Braves Chris Harris saw it and made that dream come true on Friday night! Minor League Baseball

...and our time as the Malmo Oat Milkers comes to an end with a victory over the Birmingham Barons! Epic call by Chris Harris!
