Did you know? 🔹 London Bridge is the oldest bridge in the city, dating back to the Roman occupation of Britain (AD 50). 🔹 You can climb 311 steps to the top of The Monument for breathtaking panoramic views of London. 🔹 Canary Wharf was named after the Canary Islands—a nod to the fruit-laden ships that once docked there. Our Sales & Proposals team from the UK and Germany discovered these and many more fascinating facts during our recent team-building day in London. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore the city’s iconic landmarks while strengthening our collaboration and understanding. A great reminder that learning, teamwork, and a change of scenery can go a long way in bringing people together! #TeamBuilding #London #Collaboration #SalesAndProposals

Our Site Manager, Clinton, is facing a real challenge in Germany – and it’s not just clearing snow off his car every morning! He’s leading the installation of additional plan bracing (horizontal cross bracing) in an extremely tight space between the AutoStore system and the mezzanine above. Precision, coordination, and a steady hand are key to making this work, but once completed, the warehouse will be ready for commissioning. A big shoutout to Clinton and the team for their hard work and determination – almost there! #mezzanine #mitek #Teamwork #Engineering #WarehouseInstallation #AutoStore

No Gym Membership Needed – Just a Day in the Life of a Site Manager! Our Site Manager, Stephen, might want to cancel his gym membership – he certainly doesn’t need it! For the past few months, he’s been leading the construction of a massive mezzanine structure to support AutoStore, workstations, conveyor systems, and storage. Two weeks ago, the team took on the next challenge: installing a three-tier mezzanine floor, complete with garment loops and conveyors – each floor an impressive 85m x 65m within a vast 1,000m x 200m warehouse. The daily workout? 25,000+ steps and 30 flights of stairs climbed – every single day! That’s some serious dedication, both to fitness and to delivering an outstanding project. Stephen, you’re an absolute legend! #Construction #Logistics #WarehouseExcellence #Leadership #Teamwork #mezzanine #mitek #AutoStore

What a fantastic day at the office! It was brilliant to welcome colleagues from across the UK and Germany to our Mezzanine Headquarters in Kent for an all-in day. In the spirit of a mini Jinji Ido—the Japanese practice of rotating employees across different departments—each team shared insights into their daily tasks. This gave us all a greater understanding of how we can collaborate more effectively. My top three takeaways from the day: 1️⃣ Face-to-face connections matter. Meeting colleagues in person helped build relationships beyond our usual interactions, creating a stronger sense of team spirit. 2️⃣ Understanding challenges leads to better teamwork. Hearing from different departments gave us valuable insight into their hurdles and how we can support each other to work more efficiently. 3️⃣ Good feedback is just as important as bad feedback. Recognising what works well is just as crucial as identifying areas for improvement—helping us build on success. It was a brilliant opportunity to learn, connect, and grow as a team. How do you find meeting colleagues in person impacts collaboration in your workplace? Let’s discuss! #Teamwork #Collaboration #KnowledgeSharing #JinjiIdo #WorkplaceCulture #mezzanine #mitek
