Every day, businesses across the globe issue millions of company-owned IT assets—like smartphones, tablets, and laptops—to employees. Most companies don’t consider the IT asset recovery process—how they’ll retrieve the IT asset following an employee’s departure or device upgrade. The result is often a lack of employee accountability, exposure to data loss, and pollution of the earth’s air, water, and soil with e-waste. Traditional IT asset recovery using spreadsheets is time-consuming and labor-intensive, which led us to create the go-to software-driven solution for company-owned IT asset recovery.
