MoCannTrade is an association of business owners, professionals and residents proactively working to build a successful, safe and compliant industry. By combining our collective industry knowledge and experience with the best practices and expertise developed in other cannabis legal states, we will safeguard and streamline industry participation for all stakeholders. Beneficiaries include, state government regulatory agencies, law enforcement, allied cannabis business participants, healthcare professionals, caregivers and patients. MoCannTrade is governed by a cross section of professionals in our community and relevant industries including: government, agriculture, healthcare, science, finance, property, education, legal and law enforcement. MoCannTrade is the voice of trade for the Missouri Medical Cannabis Industry.

Our association is comprised of business professionals from a variety of industries, backgrounds and expertise working together to provide a meaningful impact on Missouri’s marijuana trade, strengthening the industry’s credibility, impact, and unified voice in Missouri. Presenting Suzanne Morrison, Director of Retail for Green ReLeaf Dispensaries & CEO of STL Cannabis Services LLC services, and Advisory Board Member to MoCann’s Dispensary Committee. Suzanne began her leadership career 20 years ago in the hospitality industry. There she created Leadership Development programs, shoulder-to-shoulder training, LSM training, food safety audits and so much more. Joining the Missouri Cannabis Industry in 2020, Suzanne was actively involved in local community engagement, marketing, operations, training and education, and compliance & sales. In 2022, Suzanne began her own consulting firm specializing in cannabis compliance. From facility audits to QMS buildout, Suzanne’s experience in cannabis compliance runs the gamut. Suzanne’s experience of operational compliance makes her a natural fit for MoCann’s Dispensary Committee.

Katie is a current adjunct professor at SLU in their Cannabis and Science Operations Program where she has been educating students for 3 years. Katie has 5 years experience owning and operating brick and mortar retail stores contributing to the health and wellness of her customers. Katie co-founded Blue Key CBD in 2017 where she developed and manufactured products such as tinctures, lotions, fruit chews and a variety of other products. Katie sells CBD products online, through brick & mortar and through local dispensaries. Katie has 10 years cannabis cultivation experience, is a certified forager of the Ozark region and an avid plant science enthusiast. Katie has 10 years of medical experience in the health care industry through patient care and sales. As Chief Compliance and State Governmental Affairs Officer of Good Day Farm, Nate leads the company’s responsibilities regarding regulatory compliance and matters regarding governmental relations. A licensed attorney and former Arkansas legislator, prior to Good Day Farm, Nate was a co-founder and managing partner of Steel Wright Gray, PLLC, a commercial litigation, government relations, and administrative law firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Nate’s law practice focused on licensing and advocacy before state boards and commissions, with a focus on medical marijuana and casino gaming licensees. He has represented some of the Southeast’s largest public companies in regulated industries including banking, energy, health care, and pharmacy. The Intoxicating Cannabinoid Control Act (ICCA) will keep harmful, unregulated cannabis products out of the hands of Missouri children. Kudos to State Sen. Nick Schroer for sponsoring SB54 that will simply regulate these products for what they are—Marijuana.
