Presenting Suzanne Morrison, Director of Retail for Green ReLeaf Dispensaries & CEO of STL Cannabis Services LLC services, and Advisory Board Member to MoCann’s Dispensary Committee. Suzanne began her leadership career 20 years ago in the hospitality industry. There she created Leadership Development programs, shoulder-to-shoulder training, LSM training, food safety audits and so much more. Joining the Missouri Cannabis Industry in 2020, Suzanne was actively involved in local community engagement, marketing, operations, training and education, and compliance & sales. In 2022, Suzanne began her own consulting firm specializing in cannabis compliance. From facility audits to QMS buildout, Suzanne’s experience in cannabis compliance runs the gamut. Suzanne’s experience of operational compliance makes her a natural fit for MoCann’s Dispensary Committee.

Brad Gregory is a dedicated entrepreneur with a passion for the cannabis industry and community. Brad has been a part of Missouri’s cannabis industry since its inception. A cannabis enthusiast and home grower, Brad loves building things and bringing people together. With experience working with multiple groups in the industry, Brad’s strengths include license compliance, cannabis extraction/processing, and cultivation. He has played a significant role in helping various organizations navigate the complexities of the cannabis market. His goal is to be a trusted link between the micro and comprehensive markets, empowering micro license holders before commencement and beyond. Brad is committed to fostering growth and opportunities for small businesses within the cannabis sector. MoCann is excited to have Brad’s boundless energy and singular skillset inform the work of our Manufacturing & Testing Committee as our Microbusiness Representative.

Katie is co-founder and co-owner of 3140 Industries, a Wholesale Microbusiness licensee in Missouri congressional district 3. Katie is a current adjunct professor at SLU in their Cannabis and Science Operations Program where she has been educating students for 3 years. Katie has 5 years experience owning and operating brick and mortar retail stores contributing to the health and wellness of her customers. Katie co-founded Blue Key CBD in 2017 where she developed and manufactured products such as tinctures, lotions, fruit chews and a variety of other products. Katie sells CBD products online, through brick & mortar and through local dispensaries. Katie has 10 years cannabis cultivation experience, is a certified forager of the Ozark region and an avid plant science enthusiast. Katie has 10 years of medical experience in the health care industry through patient care and sales. In 2019, Katie co-founded We are JAINE, a non-profit organization promoting women in the cannabis industry, and currently serves as its Vice President. Katie's enthusiasm and experience informs MoCann's Healthcare Education and Training Committee, where we're proud to have her as Microbusiness Representative.

More than 140,000 non-violent marijuana offenses have been expunged, a remarkable milestone since voters passed adult-use legalization in 2022, which has not only been great for the Missouri economy and communities, it has also helped right past wrongs.

Presenting Nate Steel, Chief Compliance and State Governmental Affairs Officer for Good Day Farm and Advisor to MoCann's Government Affairs Committee. As Chief Compliance and State Governmental Affairs Officer of Good Day Farm, Nate leads the company’s responsibilities regarding regulatory compliance and matters regarding governmental relations. A licensed attorney and former Arkansas legislator, prior to Good Day Farm, Nate was a co-founder and managing partner of Steel Wright Gray, PLLC, a commercial litigation, government relations, and administrative law firm located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Nate’s law practice focused on licensing and advocacy before state boards and commissions, with a focus on medical marijuana and casino gaming licensees. He has represented some of the Southeast’s largest public companies in regulated industries including banking, energy, health care, and pharmacy. Nate served three terms in the Arkansas General Assembly (2010-2015) where he co-chaired the House Agriculture, Forestry and Economic Development Committee and sat on the Judiciary, State Agencies, Joint Budget, and Energy Committees.

The Intoxicating Cannabinoid Control Act (ICCA) will keep harmful, unregulated cannabis products out of the hands of Missouri children. Kudos to State Sen. Nick Schroer for sponsoring SB54 that will simply regulate these products for what they are—Marijuana.
