The Zallinger Refuge project includes the renovation of a historic mountain retreat and the introduction of six new mini-chalets. The chalets, with façades of stacked solid wood, create a stunning interplay of light and shadow inside while opening to reveal breathtaking alpine views. During peak winter, guests arrive by Snowcat and with a prime location on the Alpe di Siusi ski slopes, Zallinger also attracts skiers to its new restaurant and lounge. CampOUT is a private retreat nestled in California's Sierra Nevada foothills. This project thoughtfully integrates minimalist, functional design with the natural landscape. In an area ravaged by wildfires, the building utilized construction systems and non-combustible materials that could withstand these climate-change disasters.
