For Modula’s February Adopt A Class, our class of 5th graders learned about the roles of planning and purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Students teamed up and received sample production plans indicating what color and quantity of candies they needed for their finished product. Each team was responsible for visiting various vendor shops manned by Modula team members to negotiate and buy candies to fill their requirements. The students had a blast and drove a hard bargain!
