Murray Osorio PLLC partner Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg was a guest speaker for the NITA-NIPNLG's “Advocacy in Immigration Matters” Training. This four-day skills training for immigration court advocates and defenders took place last week where attendees could improve their court skills through an immersive and rigorous experience with meaningful feedback from skilled practitioners, including retired Immigration Judges. We are happy to continue our relationship with National Institute for Trial Advocacy and National Immigration Project where we help teach immigration lawyers from across the country how to improve their trial skills.

Murray Osorio PLLC partners closely with the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition to help our community seek immigration asylum and professional services. We are happy to have served on another victory this month.

Congratulations to David,* his family, and his pro bono attorney BJ Osorio of Murray Osorio PLLC for their recent asylum victory in immigration court.     David left his country after facing political violence and corruption that culminated in the death of a close family member and serious threats against David’s family. The immigration judge granted David asylum, and David’s family members won asylum, as well.      We wish David and his family all the best, and we are grateful for Murray Osorio’s amazing pro bono work with CAIR Coalition-referred clients.    *To protect the privacy of the people we work with, names, photos, and other identifying information have been changed.
