I feel very lucky to share that I started my new role as CMO at Moloco a few weeks ago. While Moloco is not universally known, it is a very special company. Moloco was started in 2013 by an incredible team of machine learning engineers and technologists. It took 5 years to built the company's first disruptive product -- Moloco Ads -- which is a unique outcome-based performance marketing platform for the open Internet. Why is this important? Today, 70% of Internet time is spent in the open Internet beyond the walls of Google, Meta and others yet only 30% of digital advertising spend is deployed there. Moloco is focused on helping mobile app companies grow faster, reach new users, and increase ROI by leveraging machine learning to reach the right users on the open Internet. Moloco is already doing this at an immense scale, analyzing and learning from 600B+ daily ads requests — 3x more than Pinterest, Snapchat, and Twitter combined. With a strong foundation in machine learning, Moloco continues to expand. The second product, Moloco Commerce Media, provides the full ad system for retailers, enabling them to use first-party data to serve 1:1 personalized ads, improve monetization, and deliver strong results for advertisers. Moloco's third product, Moloco Streaming Monetization, provides the full ad system for digital streaming providers. While the business is special, what really drew me to Moloco was the team and culture. Moloco's 700-person team is deeply talented and experienced. The culture, which reflects the founders, is built on humility, kindness, collaboration and a belief in the limitlessness of the opportunity and what the team can do together. The business is very global: we have marketers in the U.S. and Europe as well as Korea, Japan, China, India, and Singapore. As the business continues to grow, we'll be hiring for marketing roles around the world. In particular, I'm already looking for strong technology marketers and leaders with experience in ad tech, the retail industry, and the digital streaming industry. While I have much to learn, I couldn't be more excited about this new work chapter.
