Being hit by your child can be frustrating and upsetting. Here's how to react calmly and effectively: 1. Stay Calm & Composed: It's important to take a deep breath and avoid reacting in anger. 2. Stop the Hitting: If necessary, gently block your child's hand or move yourself out of the way to prevent further hitting. 3. Acknowledge Their Feelings: Let your child know you understand they're upset. 4. Set Limits: Clearly state that hitting is not okay. Use a firm but calm voice and say something like "We don't hit in our house." 5.
