💪 Now that's what we call a united front 💪 Local healthcare CEOs partnered to bring an important panel discussion to Hometown Helena this morning on the renewal of Montana’s current Medicaid program, explaining how the program not only ensures access to vital services for low-income adults but also how it bolsters our local economy and supports businesses by maintaining a healthier, more productive workforce. 👉 After the New Year, the Montana Legislature will soon consider whether to keep the program as it is today or allow major parts of it to expire in July 2025. Learn more about what's at stake and share your support for its continuation at montanamedicaidworks.org. ✨ Your leadership and participation are crucial in sustaining our healthcare system and economic stability. ✨ 📸 : Left to right: Richard Miltenberger, Interim CEO, Pureview Health Center; Justin Tiffany, CEO, Billings Clinic Broadwater; Craig Aasved, CEO, Shodair Children's Hospital; Wade Johnson, CEO, St. Peter's Health; Todd Wilson, CEO, Helena Indian Alliance; John Goodnow, CEO, Benefis Health System. Indigenous people are often reduced to an asterisk in data and reporting—overlooked and underrepresented. At MCUIH, we are changing that narrative. Through our commitment to empowering Urban Indian Organizations (UIOs) and Native communities, we're ensuring that Native Americans in urban areas are fully included in research and data initiatives. By addressing data disaggregation and promoting Indigenous data sovereignty, we are creating space for Native voices to shape solutions that truly reflect their realities. This National Giving Day, December 3, join us in amplifying Native voices by supporting MCUIH and our mission to build equity and inclusion. 💪✨ #UrbanNativeHealth #DataEquity #AsteriskNoMore #GivingTuesday www.mcuih.org
