Tonight the Monterey Conference Center team hosted a Gala for the Carmel Classic Invitatuonal, a four-day, three-night, invitation-only golf experience that brings golfers to play and stay at Pebble Beach. Attendees come together annually to support selected charities whose “focus is on blessing those who have been disadvantaged in areas of youth development, education, job opportunities and affordable housing.” The night included a very enthusiastic live auction and an intimate concert with country artist Jake Owen. #meetingprof #seemonterey #golf #concert #meetings #gala

As 2023 comes to an end I look back and reflect on what a year it's been. I have learned so much along the way and I appreciate all the old and new connections as I've navigated my new role as General Manager. As an MCC team we experienced so much this past year. We've celebrated with baby showers and monthly birthday celebrations. We were "Under the Sea with MCC" for our Halloween department themed costumes and we participated in the City of Monterey's Halloween Trunk-or-Treat. We had our 2nd annual holiday bowling party and we came together and supported four families with Christmas presents, who would have otherwise not received anything. WE won the NorthStar Stella Award for BEST Conference Center (in the world) 2023. SmartMeetings came to Monterey and we were lucky enough to host their drone show a first for Monterey. (I have a video to share-too large to post), and several new and repeat conferences and events found inspiration in our beautiful venue. As we close out 2023, several members of our team will ring in the New Year together as we host First Night Monterey celebration with many members of our community and visitors from around the world. Happy New Year & Cheers to 2024!!!
