Here’s a sneak peek at what we’re building at MOOD.ai! 👀 🚀 Our daily emotion check-ins allow employees to anonymously share how they’re feeling, providing valuable insights for their company. The intuitive interface is powered by research led by my co-founder Nathan Jones. We’ll be opening the app to beta testers soon—stay tuned! 😊

Taking a moment to pause and accept our emotions is a game changer. Yes, even at work. It was fantastic to give a sneak peak of our mood check feature at the #AHRI SA State Conference and share all the feels with 400 HR professionals. “You’re going to screw this up.” (Not today, inner critic) 💪 Ever notice that the higher the stakes, the louder the inner critic seems to become? Loved sharing my journey with my own inner critic at Adelaide Oval for Day 1 of the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) SA State Conference, where I introduced my five-step PAUSE framework for navigating chaos like a pro. Here’s how it works: ⏸️ P is for… Pause. Simple. It’s just stopping to give yourself the gift of contemplation. ▶️ A reminds us to Accept our emotions with curiosity, whatever they are. ⏪ U means going back to Understand the trigger with newfound compassion. ⏩ S is about Strategising a fresh, creative path forward. ⏺️ E prompts us to Execute courageously and rewrite our narrative. Chaos is unavoidable. But by taking time to #PAUSE, we can silence the critic and amplify our inner coach, tapping into our best selves. Have you taken a PAUSE today? #emotionalintelligence #AHRIEvents

A big week of feels at the HR + L&D Innovation & Tech Fest! Three of them come to mind… 🤔 Curiosity: Loved taking the stage for a session on #EmotionalArtificialIntelligence and what the future of work holds. I get such a buzz sharing my perspectives on the intersection of EI and AI, and hearing how others are leveraging emerging technologies to feel better at work. 🤩 Excitement: We also gave attendees a sneak peek of Mood.ai — an intuitive mood-tracking app designed to enhance emotional intelligence and psychological safety in organisations. Our team had a booth to demo the product, and the positive feedback has really given us deeper clarity on the problem we’re passionate about solving. 🥰 Gratitude: So glad to have connected with hundreds of passionate people leaders who care deeply about how we show up at work each day. Special thanks to Anna Turner and the Hannover Fairs Australia team for inviting me as a speaker and taking such good care of me. Finally, massive high fives to the legendary Mood.ai team – our product designer, Adam Johnson, our commercial lead, Martin Astbury, and relationships rockstar, Nicole Candeloro. Let’s keep this momentum going! What were your top three feels this week? #EmotionalIntelligence #AIforGood
