We are happy to endorse this very important research project that could help expand the knowledge of the efficacy of complementary and integrative health options.
Doctor of Health Sciences Candidate | Public Health Researcher- Amplifying Lived Experiences Through Policy and Narratives to Improve Healthcare Infrastructure | Veteran Healthcare | Tribal Health
Hi All! I am a Doctor of Health Sciences candidate at A.T. Still University. I am currently conducting my doctoral research on veteran lived experiences using complementary and integrative health (CIH) to manage their PTSD symptoms. I am looking for veterans who use one or more complementary or integrative health to help manage and mitigate their symptoms of PTSD to complete a 45-minute virtual interview regarding their experiences. Complementary and integrative health approaches can include, but are not limited to, VA Whole Health, yoga, acupuncture, meditation, and outdoor-based therapy. Please share or connect with me if you are interested in participating or would like to learn more about my research. Thank you in advance! #veterans #veteranhealthcare #complimentaryandintegrativehealth #CIH #complementaryandintegrativemedicine #CIM #PTSD #Posttraumaticstressdisorder

You may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed, disempowered and helpless. That's okay. We ALL feel that from time to time. Remember that there is always one more step you can take to help your situation. Just taking an action, even if it ultimately does not work the way you want to can make you feel better. And that one more step can lead to another and another and another until things start working out. I'm happy to be a non-judgmental listening ear to help you process things. I have been helping veterans and service members for over 20 years now, and I never charge a fee. Message me on LinkedIn or give me a call at 910-690-5964.
