#Funnyfriday Although this cartoon is meant to be silly, stacking weights during a calibration can introduce significant measurement errors and lessen repeatability. Stacked weights can become unstable and tip over, potentially damaging the weights and measurement equipment and even posing safety risks for calibration technicians. The non-uniform distribution of weight and potential misalignment when stacking can create unwanted lateral forces and moments, introducing systematic errors in the calibration process. For better measurement practice, use appropriate mounting fixtures and apply the weights in a controlled manner.

Mark Jones designed a better mousetrap with these shackle load cells. The testing of which Henry Z had the pleasure of working with Mark to make sure the performance was leaps above other commercially available shackle type load pins. Comparison tests showed the Morehouse Wireless Shackle Load Pin was around 39.56 times more repeatable and, at a minimum, had reproducibility data that was 3.76 better and, on some points, up to 43.5 times better.
