The holiday season can be stressful for many, especially for those with wheelchairs who plan on traveling during the holidays. If you're traveling this holiday season - here are a few tips to help make your trip a little less stressful. 1. Arrive extra early. Plan to arrive around 2-3 hours before your flight. 2. Be one of the first to board so you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle. 3. Sit near the front. Ensure you can get an accessible seat or speak with an attendant at the gate. 4. Plan for TSA inspection. Your wheelchair will be thoroughly inspected. Another reason why it’s important to plan extra time at the airport when traveling with a wheelchair. Are you going anywhere this holiday season? We'd love to hear it! Please share with us in the comments below any tips you have while traveling. #SCItravelingtips #QuickTips #SCITraveling #MortonCureParalysisFund
