It has truly been my pleasure to intern at Motta Financial for the past few months and to be recognized in their October newsletter. It is very rare that you work for a company that has such kind words to say about you, so to Dat Le, CPA and the entire Motta Financial family, I am forever thankful!
With that, I am very excited to announce that I have been asked to extend my internship through the remainder of my junior year at Suffolk University! Excited to see what my first busy season brings!
Read the remainder of my intern spotlight below:
“She’s potentially the brightest student I’ve come across. Sophia joined Motta Financial as the firm's first intern in May 2024, marking a significant milestone for our team. I was introduced to Sophia through Suffolk University and Sophia quickly distinguished herself as one of the most dedicated, kind, and hard-working individuals on the team. In her role, Sophia had to navigate the challenges of a high-growth startup and she did so with poise while delivering top-quality work across various functions, including tax, accounting, and marketing. Her willingness to tackle any task with a positive attitude truly embodied the firm’s values.
Reflecting on her impact, one of our directors shared, “Sophia has embraced our company’s learning culture and added significant value. As our first intern, she has set a high performance standard for future interns.”
Michalene Hardy, our Director of Marketing, added, “Sophia consistently brought fresh ideas to the Marketing team, streamlining collaboration and improving efficiency. Her initiative, communication skills, and strong work ethic will undoubtedly drive her future success.”
I couldn't agree more! Sophia’s contributions have not only advanced the firm's objectives but also set the tone for what we look for in future talent. We are confident she will excel in every endeavor she undertakes! More than just an intern, I think I speak for the team when I say we consider Sophia part of the Motta family."
