Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health on a global scale.
About us
Since 2003, Movember has built a global men’s health movement, funding more than 1,300 projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men. Movember has taken on three of the biggest health issues affecting men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide. Movember has: ▪ Invested almost $350 million in over 600 biomedical research projects, focusing on prostate and testicular cancer. ▪ Funded 4 prostate cancer registries, with over 200,000 men enrolled from 23 countries. ▪ Supported interventions designed to assist and guide men through the prostate cancer journey, offering them resources and information so that they are empowered to make their own decisions, manage symptoms and share lived experiences. ▪ Since taking on mental health and suicide as a cause area in 2006, Movember has united experts, funded bold new approaches and embraced fresh perspectives. We’ve focused on prevention, early intervention, and health promotion through a male lens. Movember is for everyone, not just for men. We are a health movement and our invitation to take part is open to everyone. We champion healthcare that is sensitive to the needs of everyone, including men, so that everyone benefits. And we have a strong focus on how improving men's health can have a profoundly positive impact on women, families, and society as a whole. But we lead the charge in encouraging men to adopt healthy behaviours, challenging health systems and confronting gender norms to reduce health inequalities and save more lives. Another Movember full of flavour, thanks to our mates at Kellanova. This hairy season, Pringles marked its 5th year supporting men’s health. From swapping Mr. P’s moustache for a QR code linking to Movember Conversations, to the “Scan and Scran Cafe” with footy legend Jimmy Bullard, to touring the UK in a Movember X Pringles van. As the month of November has ended, I want to reflect on the journey we took for the fourth consecutive year in support of Movember. Over the past month, we joined forces to address critical men's health issues, from mental health and suicide prevention to prostate and testicular cancer. These are words and topics that we do not always want to read or talk about, which is precisely why they must be spoken and addressed. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who took part in this meaningful cause with @Automobili Lamborghini by joining one of our Bull Runs around the world or participating in the “Know thy nuts” game at our museum in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Throughout Movember, we didn't just grow our moustaches with pride; we faced fears head-on by fostering open conversations and promoting prevention. #Movember #MentalHealthAwareness #Prevention #Support

It's the last day of the hairy month. You may have grown quite fond of your furry friend, while others may be itching to shave the second the clock strikes midnight. Before you reach for your razor, chase up those last minute donations, or donate at movember.com/donate

This morning, Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Secretary of State for Health Wes Streeting met with Movember, their supporters and families impacted by men’s poor health. Hearing firsthand accounts, they discussed the urgent need to engage men more when it comes to health. This follows the government’s commitment to its first-ever Men’s Health Strategy, launched at the Men’s Health Summit at Arsenal F.C's Emirates Football Stadium in partnership with Movember. With 2 in 5 men in the UK dying prematurely, this strategy marks a critical turning point in addressing preventable health issues. Movember has long championed these issues, and this week’s progress signals a significant milestone for men’s health, in which the Movember community has played a pivotal role in paving the way for meaningful change.

*BOOM* the UK government has just announced it will launch a men’s health strategy. We are over the moon. Movember and our partners have been calling for this a long time to help improve men’s health outcomes and bring the UK in line with other countries around the world. The strategy and the Men’s Health Summit that the government hosted with us today is a significant step forward that will transform the face of men’s health. This progress is urgently needed given how many men are dying too young and losing years of healthy life. Movember - along with our 2.5 million supporters across the UK and brilliant partners - stand ready to work with Government to make this strategy a reality. What a way to bring the month of Movember to a close. Head here to read all about it: https://bit.ly/4ePnnFY
