Over the weekend, a group of dedicated Buckeye alumni constructed their annual cake replica of the Ohio State Stadium, weighing over 200 pounds. This impressive creation has gained attention from fans and led to the establishment of a scholarship fund. We donated 30 dozen eggs for this year's cake, which was made using 336 eggs! Thanks to the funds raised from the cake, 17 academic scholarships will be awarded. The Ohio State University The Ohio State University Alumni Association

We are pleased to emphasize our commitment to the welfare of our hens and share valuable insights about the egg industry with aspiring entrepreneurs.
This year's cohort of the Square One student entrepreneurship club paid a visit to MPS Egg Farms last week to learn about the agribusiness industry as well as explore the unique Kipster method they use to raise and care for their chickens and eggs. Thank you to Sam Krouse and the MPS Egg team who spent their morning with these students!

Kipster Farm is the only egg producer in the US to receive the 2024 Good Egg Award this year! This award recognizes companies’ commitment to making genuine and meaningful improvements to the lives of laying hens and the sustainability of their supply chains.
Winner winner, good egg award for dinner. There’s some extra happy clucking at Kipster today. We have been recognized for our animal welfare commitment. According to Julia Johnson, MDiv, MS, head of food business, Compassion in World Farming (USA): “Kipster’s entry into the U.S. egg industry has been nothing short of groundbreaking!” We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this journey. Together with consumers, NGO's like Compassion in World Farming, MPS Egg Farms and companies like Kroger, we really can change the food system and do better for people, environment and the animal. CEO and Founder Ruud Zanders received CIWF's Good Egg Award for Kipster's next level animal welfare practices at the award ceremony in Paris earlier today. #goodeggaward2024 #eggs #animalwelfare

October is all about food! With World Animal Day (Oct 4), World Egg Day (Oct 11), National Farmers Day (Oct 12), and World Food Day (Oct 16), it's the perfect time to reflect on the incredible work that goes into feeding this country. Did you know that just 2% of the U.S. population are farmers? Along with their farm workers, they provide the food that fills your grocery basket. Yet, farming comes with immense challenges—from fluctuating market prices to unpredictable weather, and now more than ever, the impacts of climate change. Let's take a moment to appreciate the farmers, the farmed animals, the workers, and everyone along the supply chain who make it possible to nourish us every day. And remember, one of the best ways to show gratitude is by reducing food waste. Cheers to all my fellow farmers—thank you for your hard work! #WorldFoodDay #NationalFarmersDay #WorldEggDay #Sustainability #Farmers #ReduceFoodWaste
