Congratulations Tyler Huggins on earning your MSEM and thank you to Kerry Melton, Ph.D. for being there to present the diploma! https://lnkd.in/gPyfJRaX
"I applied to the MSEM Program to expand my knowledge in my engineering field and to strengthen my skills to excel in leadership positions. It is an affordable, competitive quality program, that offered the schedule flexibility I need working multiple jobs. The program’s core curriculum provides a valuable base, while allowing me to choose electives based on my interests and background. The curriculum is a great hybrid and incorporates the technical skills and backgrounds of an MS program with the management and business aspects from an MBA. I enjoyed my courses in project management, leadership, and risk and maintenance management. These courses are versatile, with valuable information and skills that can be applied in a variety of scenarios. I walked away from these courses being able to immediately apply this knowledge to my current roles. Completing projects and case studies in both leadership and project management raised my awareness of common project and leadership obstacles, how to avoid them, and how to manage a skilled workforce. Risk and maintenance management courses helped me assess situations for risk while evaluating how and when to perform maintenance to reduce failures and increase efficiency. The knowledge and skills I gained from the MSEM Program have allowed me build on my technical engineering background and helped me become a more well-rounded engineering professional capable of leading and managing teams for success as both a nuclear power plant operator and officer in the US Army Reserve. These skills have had an immediate positive impact on my military career, and I am confident that I will continue applying this knowledge while pursuing excellence in my civilian career." "This was a great program! It offered me the flexibility to complete the degree while in an Operations Management Engineering Rotational Program. The class work coincided with the work I was doing at my job. I was able to apply a lot of the skills. I had great professors and an AMAZING advisor (shoutout Marge!). I am very thankful I was able to be a part of this." ~ Bailey Jones Eaton University of Arkansas College of Engineering Dept. of Industrial Engineering at the U of A University of Arkansas ONLINE

I’d like to invite you to join me September 17-18 in Alexandria, VA at the first AUVSI Industry Insight Summit, focused on uncrewed systems security. I’ll be speaking on a panel at the event. I hope you’ll join my session to hear about UAS Cybersecurity. This summit isn’t just for industry experts. It was designed for leaders who are trying to navigate the security considerations as uncrewed systems are further integrated into their operations and planning. During this event, you’ll not only delve into UAS detection and mitigation practices and how it helps keep communities safe, but also gain a more comprehensive understanding of the future of security and the state of counter-UAS authorities and cybersecurity technologies to help you respond to current threats. Let me know if you have any questions about my talk or the event. You can learn more and register at industryinsightsummits.org. Hope to see you there!
