With a finance and data analytic background and a passion for the judicial system, this job seemed like the perfect match for my career development. After meeting the team, it was noticeable how close-knit everyone was and how strong the company culture was, which was quite admirable. 𝟮. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴? I majored in finance and minored in business in healthcare at the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management. I’ve had several jobs where I gained a strong foundation of data analytics and evaluation. My background has proven to be very helpful as I have taken over the servicing sector of our company, where I am responsible for keeping tabs on all our open cases. 𝟰. With the Kentucky train derailment in recent headlines, our thoughts turned to the train derailment incident in East Palestine. Mustang strongly emphasizes a culture of positivity and health, creating a motivating and supportive work environment. 2. What is your favorite thing about working at Mustang Litigation Funding? Mustang has continued to foster relationships, not just with law firms, but with personalized considerations for client needs.  Mustang team members are easily some of the happiest people I've ever worked with. 3. What's your background, and how does that come into play in your role at Mustang? I was in healthcare finance for 23 years before joining Mustang in August of 2023.  While healthcare finance may not be directly related to legal funding, my experience has been advantageous in understanding the intricacies of cases involving medical expenses, personal injury, workers' compensation, and other related legal matters.  4. What opportunities have presented themselves to you from working at Mustang? Joining Mustang has afforded me the chance to leverage my regulatory knowledge and analytical skills in a way that helps clients gain access to funding in their time of need.
