MVP Health Care has been made aware of fraudulent individuals posing as MVP Human Resources representatives through fake e-mail addresses and text messaging systems. This is an issue we take very seriously, and we work with the appropriate authorities to report these scams. Here are a few things to be aware of to help identify recruitment fraud: MVP will only communicate with applicants through emails generated by a @MVPHealthCare.com domain or via our Dayforce tracking system (notify@dayforce.com). Additionally, at no point in MVP’s hiring process will an MVP recruiter ever ask you to make any type of payment to be considered for a role. If you receive an email or text message claiming to be from MVP Health Care that asks for payment-related or personal information and you are concerned about its legitimacy, you may notify us by emailing hr@mvphealthcare.com. Holidays are a time for joy, connection, celebration, and reflection. But if you’re not feeling particularly cheery, you are not alone.   Our team at MVP Health Care suggests these four tips to maintain your health and well-being during the holiday season: - Mindful Eating: To enjoy treats and meals without guilt, practice mindful eating. This means listening to your body’s hunger cues to eat an appropriate amount, which can help prevent overindulgence. -  Sip Smartly: Festive drinks are often a part of holiday gatherings, but consuming alcohol in moderation is necessary to protect your mood, sleep, and overall health. Stay hydrated and pace yourself by alternating alcoholic beverages with water or sparkling seltzer. - Prioritize Self-Care: The holidays are a time to cherish loved ones and reflect on the joys of the season. Be present during conversations and activities. But remember, it is okay to take time for yourself. Focus on your mental health and well-being, even during all the family fun. - Staying Healthy: Between travel, large gatherings, and the cold weather, keeping your immune system healthy can be difficult. This National Influenza Vaccination Week, we want to remind you about the importance of getting your flu shot! Although there are a lot of misconceptions about flu shots, here are the facts: - Flu shots do not cause the flu. - The flu can be a serious illness, particularly if you are at a higher risk of flu complications (Ex: if you're pregnant, 65 or older, or have chronic health conditions like heart disease, diabetes or cancer). - The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends getting the flu vaccine annually. This is because the vaccine changes every year to ensure it's best equipped to handle the new strain. - While the flu is most prevalent during the winter months, it can be active as late as May. Yesterday, we donated 125 new winter coats to Capital District Latinos to distribute to children in need throughout the Capital Region.   By offering essential winter coats to children who might otherwise go without one this winter, we reinforce our commitment to supporting our local communities.   Our Senior Community Relationship Manager, Jackie Marciniak, said: "MVP is committed to uplifting communities by providing meaningful support that improves the health and well-being of families. Ensuring children have proper winter clothing is one of the simplest yet effective ways we can support their health, comfort, and ability to thrive throughout the season.” 

We are excited to have kicked-off free swim lesson in partnership with YMCA of Greater Rochester last Thursday!   Our community relationship manager Stacey Spadoni spoke to WROC-TV Channel 8, saying: “We know that swimming and water safety is so important. Especially in this region, and a lot of kids don’t have access to swim lessons, swim programs.
