Breaking the Stigma & Building Support for Youth MVP Recovery ConnectED Program Coordiantor & Mental Health Coordinator had the privilege of meeting with students from Chichester Middle and High School to talk about mental health, well-being, and the power of open conversations. We provided a safe space for students to share what’s going on in their lives while also offering psychoeducation on mental health. 🚨 Exciting News from MVP Recovery! 🚨 In 2023, MVP Recovery submitted a groundbreaking grant proposal funded by the Delaware County Opioid Settlemnet Fund, aiming to establish a state-of-the-art Opioid Treatment and Recovery (OTR) Center to address the critical gap in opioid treatment services for underserved communities. Upon the closure of the only Opioid Outpatient Treatment Center in the southeastern part of the county, MVP stepped up to make a difference. 🌟 Fast forward to 2024: The MVP OTR Center is now a 100% fully sustainable program, achieving the goal of our original vision! Here’s how we’re making an impact: ✅ 101 Opioid Use Disorder Intakes ✅ 49% of Clients are Chester City Residents – directly serving the heart of our underserved populations. ✅ Filling the gap left by the closure of other providers, ensuring no one is left behind in Delaware County. 📊 Why it matters: At MVP Recovery, we believe that outcomes and measures are key to success.
