What a crazy few months it's been! 10 weeks ago we entered the Cultivator powered by Conexus START program with just an idea. In those ten weeks we have: interviewed over 40 parents, received over 500 responses to our online survey, validated and KNOW that the problem we're solving is real, created a wait list of 400+ moms and received positive feedback from everyone we have talked to about MLC! 🙌 We've also been building: a brand and logo, a website, tons of content, an FB/IG/LI presence, an early version of MyLifeCatcher (called an MVP in the software startup world) that has users giving us great feedback! We cannot wait for what's next! 2025 will be spectacular if these last 10 weeks are any indication. 🚀 Incredibly inspired after attending the inaugural STARTup Showcase at the beautiful Darke Hall, where START Cohort 11 by Cultivator powered by Conexus demonstrated the incredible innovation happening right here in Saskatchewan! The founders had impressive pitches lined up, communicating their visions. As someone who is new to the culture and reconnecting with academia, it added a lot of perspective to witness the ongoing efforts in the industry. What stood out was the diverse range of solutions these entrepreneurs are building - each founder showed not just technical prowess, but a deep understanding of their target market's needs. Major kudos to the Conexus Cultivator team for creating such a robust ecosystem for early-stage founders, with their blend of virtual and in-person delivery making entrepreneurship accessible even for founders still working full-time. The networking opportunities were fantastic, and it was great connecting with fellow community members over drinks while discussing Saskatchewan's thriving tech scene. Congratulations to all the founders for the big prizes! MyLifeCatcher - you are still my favourite 😊 An added delight was to meet our (celebrity) dean Erin Oldford from University of Regina with her encouraging presence & positive energy.
