  • Your follower count isn’t the key to views anymore 🔑 Social platforms used to be stuck in silos—only your friends or followers saw your content. 🔹 This first changed with Instagram's Explore Page 🔹 In 2019, TikTok revolutionized the way people consume content with their For You Page. Now, every platform is follower-agnostic... If your content is valuable, it'll be seen- regardless of your follower count. #financialadvisor #wealthmanagement #marketing

  • Social media platforms ACTUALLY WANT you to succeed as a financial advisor... Think about... let's say you've created a video explaining Roth conversions. Which of these scenarios has more incentive for Instagram? 1️⃣ Showing your video to a bunch of 20-year-olds 2️⃣ Showing your video to people approaching or new to retirement? Clearly, the second scenario would lead to longer watch time (aka more ad $$$) for Instagram. Create specific, actionable content and the algorithm will reward you 🤝 #financialadvisor #wealthmanagement #marketing

  • Don't make a podcast...🙅♂️ Or long-form YouTube videos...🙅♂️ Or write a blog...🙅♂️ BEFORE you have a system in place for creating a high quantity of high quality short-form video (SFV) content. Why? SFV is the best way to get eyes on target: no other format of content has anywhere close to the same potential for reach. The advisors we work with average 10,000+ views in their FIRST WEEK posting the SFVs we made with them - even though most start with 0 followers. If you make non-SFV content, does your total LIFETIME view count even tally up to 10,000? SFV is the content format every social media platform is pushing right now, don't try to swim upstream by ignoring it. At N2, we're the best in the industry at implementing effective short-form video workflows into financial advisory firms. ...or we can handle every step of the process for you (except appearing on-camera) and help you create 6 months of SFV content in just 3 days. Sound like something you want to learn more about? Comment "Video" & I'll reach out to you👇

  • EVERY company should be a MEDIA company. Especially if you're in a business built on trust, like financial advisory. Consistently sharing valuable content is the most effective way to build trust at scale with your target audience. Yes, even if you have zero followers. That's how strong these short-form algorithms are. To prove that this works: if you're a financial advisor, and you're seeing this, the algorithm is doing its job. After accumulating 350M+ video views & 1.8M+ followers... I've created a free 5 day email course to help financial advisors like you start leveraging short-form video. • Is this cognitive bias hurting your firm's growth? Advisors assume their clients aren’t on social media because ADVISORS aren’t. This bias, called false consensus, keeps them from meeting their clients where they are. 📊 Here’s the reality: 👉 83% of people aged 55-65 are on LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. 👉 50% of investors say social media influenced their choice of advisor, and 20% say it was the sole deciding factor. By ignoring short-form video, you're asking your clients to get out of their comfort zone just to talk to you! #financialadvisor #marketing #shortformvideo

  • If you're a financial advisor making short-form video content, you're almost CERTAINLY making 1 of these 3 mistakes📉 Fixing them could be the difference between a video getting 100 views vs 10,000 views, or 0 booked discovery meetings vs 5. We've put together a free 5 day email course that will help you level up (or start from zero) your short-form video content. It's packed full of lessons we've learned while scaling our own content to 500M+ views & 2M+ followers... And helping hundreds of advisors with theirs. • This trap could be ruining your content strategy... It's called the Celebrity Trap, and it's when you share opinions like a celebrity would... except you're not a celebrity. It's the recognition behind what is said that creates interest in one's content. Here's how to avoid the Celebrity Trap: 1️⃣ Make an observation that grabs attention. 2️⃣ Use an authority line to show why your opinion matters. Don’t just expect people to trust you—give them a reason. #wealthmanagement #financialadvisor #marketing

  • The hidden benefit of short-form video content for financial advisors🤫 Currently - if a prospect googles you, would they even know that you're a real person? Sure, they may see your picture on your website, or find your LinkedIn profile... But zero trust has been built with them. However, if you start posting short-form videos: Your prospect will see your social media profiles when they google you (google now has a "short videos" tab + recommends them on the main search page)... Get a feel for your personality, viewpoints, and mannerisms through your content (while verifying that you're a real person)... And start to trust you because of the value-first approach you have in your content. Short-form video content doesn't just lead to better discoverability, it leads to better conversion rates on prospects already inside your funnel.

  • 🌲 I've built my following of 1.8 million in the personal finance niche almost exclusively with evergreen content. Mixing in some breaking news-style content can be great for getting a quick hit of attention, but it has 3 big downsides: 1️⃣ You rely on having noteworthy news to make content about - which can be few & far between 2️⃣ It's an inefficient way to record, because you can't batch your content 3️⃣ It loses relevance quickly, which negates the SEO benefits we're starting to see from short-form video I don't want to record videos every day, or even every WEEK... I want to record an entire month of content in one sitting. & because my content is evergreen, I continue to get millions of views per month from videos I've posted over the last 4 years. If you want to learn how my team can help you create 6 months of evergreen short-form video content in just 3 days... 👉 Send me a message that says "Vault"
