"When it comes to our values, our words of disagreement are not enough. NAPABA is charged to promote justice and equity for the AANHPI community. My team is closely monitoring developments from the federal government, and we are working with stakeholders, coalition partners, policymakers, and others to respond appropriately. NAPABA is prepared to act...In the coming weeks and months, and with your partnership, we plan to meaningfully support our community and actively counter policies that detrimentally affect the AANHPI community." 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ga8pKMNt

Join NAPABA and the Bay Area Asian American General Counsel (BAAAGC) on February 27 for an evening of networking and celebration as we honor the achievements of more than 200 Asian American General Counsel in the Bay Area. While this event marks a significant milestone for AANHPI representation in the legal profession, it is also a call to action. The Portrait Project reports highlight that Asian Americans remain underrepresented in senior legal leadership. This gathering not only recognizes the success of our community but also fosters critical discussions on advancing our sector. Today is the last day to register—don’t miss this opportunity to connect and be a part of this special celebration: https://lnkd.in/egUHeXuq

NAPABA leadership and members gathered in Phoenix for a weekend filled with inspiration and collaboration! From our second meet and greet with the local community to our quarterly board meeting, we were energized by the connections and progress made. The highlight? Attending the ABA Spirit of Excellence Awards luncheon, where we celebrated EEOC Commissioner Kalpana Kotagal and other distinguished honorees for their incredible achievements in our legal community. A huge thank you to our generous partners, Snell & Wilmer and Ballard Spahr LLP for helping us convene and connect.
