🟡NAPCORE at the POLIS Annual Conference 2024🔵 ✔️ The Annual POLIS Conference – one of the leading events for sustainable urban mobility in Europe, bringing together cities and regions, mobility experts and decision-makers from the public and private sector – took place in Karlsruhe, Germany from November 27-28, 2024. ✔️ NAPCORE was represented by General Secretary Timo Hoffmann who managed a stand in the exhibition area and Patricia Pumpler who was part of the session “Driven by Data” where she gave an insight into current NAPCORE developments and explored how NAPCORE can support cities and regions in the data provision obligations according to the Delegated Regulations (EU) of the ITS Directive in order to foster the provision of data on the National Access Points and subsequently the development of sustainable mobility services. ✔️ We have learned that it is crucial to engage directly with stakeholders on the local level and to identify the needs of cities and regions with regard to the provision of mobility data as well as to build a bridge between European legal frameworks, which are often targeted at the EU Member States, and stakeholders at the local level, who are affected by the obligations to provide data, and create new cooperation structures between the different levels of action. NAPCORE, as a European initiative uniting all EU Member States, can act as a facilitator here and provide recommendations and guidance, which in turn will be disseminated at national level. ✔️ Currently, NAPCORE is developing support measures such as FAQs on the Delegated Regulations (EU) or a concept for video tutorials to support stakeholders in creating NAP entries. In addition, trainings on data exchange formats for cities and regions will be offered and the cooperation with POLIS will be intensified in the future. 👏 We would like to thank POLIS Network for the excellent organisation of the conference and everybody that came by our NAPCORE stand for the inspiring discussions!

🟨 NAPCORE and Mobilithek: Working together for networked mobility 🟦 Mobilithek - the Mobility data exchange platform in Germany and National Access Point (NAP) - interviewed Timo Hoffmann
