Transboundary river basins cover nearly half of the Earth’s land area and are home to 3 billion people across 150 countries. These shared resources are both a source of collaboration and a cause of friction, especially as climate change intensifies droughts and increases uncertainty in water availability. Join the Accelnet PEER2PEER team tomorrow at AGU for a session on "Water and Society: Navigating Challenges in Transboundary Water Management in a Changing World": 📅 Wednesday, December 11 🕣 8:30 - 10:00 AM ET 📍 Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC Explore further details about the session here: https://ow.ly/18yR50Uoq9a #AGU24 #WaterManagement #Sustainability
