Supporting the EU's ambitious ‘Soil Deal for Europe’ to restore soil health by 2050 through Innovation and Knowledge Beacons. The main objective of NATI00NS is reaching out to and preparing regional and national stakeholders seen as potential actors to apply for and implement soil health Living Labs and Lighthouses (LLs), facilitating the deployment of the Mission across European regions during most of its first ‘induction and pilot’ phase (2021 – 2025). In this context, NATI00NS acts as a messenger of the Mission, raising awareness among national and regional stakeholders, providing access to quality-checked capacity building materials and information, spurring the discussions on the best LL setups to address regional soil needs, and fostering early matchmaking for cross-regional LL clusters.

🎉 We’ve successfully concluded our side event at OpenLivingLab Days 2024 and it was a huge success! We were glad and proud to see a high level of participation both in-person and online, with an engaged audience that truly demonstrated the growing interest in the Living Lab approach. Make sure to collaborate with those who bring the right expertise to the table. 🌍 Living Labs as models for scaling up: Living Labs should aim to become models for wider application, inspiring others to take action toward healthier soils. The responsibility is significant! 💬 Prepare for internal discussions: Expect extensive dialogue among partners, each bringing unique perspectives that must be acknowledged and respected.
