❗️UPDATE: Judge grants NCN's motion for a preliminary injunction to prevent unilateral federal funding freeze, a big win for nonprofits and the people and communities they serve❗️ In our case National Council of Nonprofits et al v Office of Management and Budget, represented in court by Democracy Forward, Judge AliKhan ruled today to grant our request for a preliminary injunction. The ruling states that OMB is prohibited from implementing, giving effect to, or reinstating under a different name the unilateral freeze of all new federal spending, attempted under OMB's funding freeze directive. OMB must instruct all federal agencies of the preliminary injunction. Thank you all for your support - please keep up the great and vital work of nonprofits in communities throughout the country. Back at US District Court today with NCN’s Tiffany Carter and Democracy Forward for a hearing on National Council of Nonprofits lawsuit against the Trump administration. We’re seeking a preliminary injunction to keep the administration from implementing its reckless federal funding freeze.
