The NCJP and NCJA Data Center partnered with the Law Enforcement Planning Commission (LEPC) to host two impactful subcommittee meetings on the beautiful islands of St. Croix and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. 🤝 Together with islandwide stakeholders, we dove deep into meaningful conversations about stakeholder engagement, behavioral health initiatives, and the power of data to inform decisions and drive change. Over the course of two days, we experienced robust dialogue, resource and information sharing, and networking and learning opportunities! ✨ These discussions paved the way for a brighter future in public safety priorities and funding for the USVI. Witnessing the passion and collaboration among stakeholders reminded us of the power of community-driven efforts. Together, we’re creating pathways for stronger, more accessible, and sustainable public safety solutions! Thank you to all the partners and participants who made this visit unforgettable. Last week, NCJA Center for Justice Planning staff, Allison Badger MPA, PMP and Jessica Grisler, MPA, facilitated the second #StrategicPlanning Working Session for the Maryland Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy in Annapolis, Maryland. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with their amazing, engaged and motivated #leadership team for the second time! We focused on identifying strengths and opportunities and narrowed down priority areas. Looking forward to seeing their strategic vision take shape!

Last week, the OVC VOCA Center held the first Learning Community specifically for the Territories in San Juan, Puerto Rico with four out of five U.S. territories represented. It was great to connect with staff from the VOCA programs in each of the territories as well as provide opportunities for them to connect with each other. #VOCA #territories #NCJA #CriminalJustice
