The NFCYM is a nonprofit, membership organization based in Washington, D.C. and founded in 1982. We serve those who serve the young church by providing resources and a network. Our members are affiliated Catholic dioceses, collaborating member organizations who share our mission, and the National Catholic Committee on Girl Scouts and Camp Fire. We also have subsidiary organizations, including the National Association for Catholic Youth Ministry, Catholic Youth Foundation USA, and CYO Sports.

NFCYM has received a $5,000,000 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to help establish and support efforts that help young people recognize and embrace the relationship between Christian faith, service, and human flourishing. 🤝 The program is being funded through Lilly Endowment’s National Youth and Young Adult Initiative on Faith and Service (Faith and Service Initiative), which is designed to nurture and deepen the faith of Christian young people through intentional service and reflection about the meaning of service in their lives.
