  • Quote of the Week. 🚀 Finding Purpose and Making an Impact 🌟 “Just know you are here for a short time for a reason. Be that good reason to be.” by Dr. Alex Jones. Here are three key takeaways from this quote: 1️⃣ Embrace Purpose: Life is fleeting, but each of us has a unique role to play. Reflect on what drives you, and channel your energy into making a meaningful difference. 2️⃣ Be the Good: Strive to leave every interaction, project, and community better than you found it. Let your presence uplift and inspire others. 3️⃣ Live Intentionally: Time is our most valuable resource. Invest it in actions, relationships, and goals that align with your values and purpose. 💡 How are you making your time count? • 💡 Everyone Deserves a Chance: Judging Less, Empowering More In a world that’s constantly evolving, so are people. Yet, many still face judgment rooted in their past experiences. It’s time to change that mindset. Here’s why: 1️⃣ People Grow and Learn Life is a journey of growth. Mistakes and challenges are stepping stones to becoming better versions of ourselves. Judging someone by their past overlooks their potential and the lessons they’ve learned. 2️⃣ Career Changes Are Normal Gone are the days of lifelong careers at one company. People change jobs to seek growth, fulfillment, or new challenges. Let’s celebrate these transitions as signs of adaptability, not red flags. 3️⃣ Opportunities Ignite Transformation The best way to empower someone is to believe in their ability to rise above their past. When we give people opportunities, we unlock their potential to contribute, thrive, and inspire others. Let’s move from judgment to encouragement. The next time someone’s story crosses your path, ask yourself: “How can I help them write their next chapter?” What are your thoughts on second chances? I’d love to hear your perspective! #GrowthMindset #SecondChances #Leadership

  • Drive Sustainability of Mind Along with Sustainability of Environment on October 2024 by Gulf Today Newpaper. Excerpts from the published article on Gulf Toay of speech by Dr. Alex Jones. DUBAI: Two hundred academicians and researchers from five continents are pushing for continuing stakeholders’ collaborations for the actualisation of the necessary sustainability of the mind, relative to the world’s zealousness in pursuing environmental sustainability, believed to be accelerated through sustainable business, science, technology and innovation. Chief guest Philippine Consul General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates Marford Angeles described the gathering of the minds as ‘timely’ and most appropriately held in the UAE, among the global leaders towards the realisation of sustainable goals. Friday keynote speaker on “Leadership,” Skyline University College-Department of Business Management in Sharjah associate professor Dr. Alex Jones, struck a chord when he stressed several times that of equal relevance, and which man must learn to dive deep into, is the “sustainability of the mind.” Jones told Gulf Today that society has been ‘talking a lot about sustainability of the environment,’ while none about ‘sustainability of the mind.’ Which is simply the honest concern of man to one another, wherever and whatever official and unofficial role one has been identified with. The “Disleadership – 30 Must-Know Models for Sustainable Organisations” co-author who had 20 years of corporate world experience in Dubai, added: “We need to throw away the key performance indicators. It is really from the Old Age and not in any way apply to technology. With technology, we need freedom and flexibility.” “Then we need to sustain the minds of everyone. Make people happier, healthier and make sure the joy of their smile is there every day. If we lose that, we lose a people. If we lose that, we lose sustainability. If we lose that, we lose the invention of technology,” Jones continued. He also said: “Technology is not coming by itself. Sustainability is not coming by itself. We need a people to take care of technology and sustainability. So take care of the people. So that they can take care of all the sustainability on technology and Artificial Intelligence.” “We profile people a lot. We have become judgmental. We have neglected the human capital and humanity,” Jones said, asked about man’s re-think in connection with education, business and social sciences. That the ecosystem reeks with ‘ego-system’ because of the endearment to ‘position, money and materialism,’ he pressed on: “Remove ego-system. Everything would be smooth. We ought to restore the respect to teachers. We have achievers and the chief executive officers because teachers help us. But never look down on anyone.” On page 5 of the 30 October 2024 Gulf Today. #leadership #disleadership #sustainbility
