As the Mobility Management Connections platform hosted by the National Center for Mobility Management (NCMM) has ended, we are introducing a new platform that will help you all navigate the landscape, continue to find the right resources and more. The National Rural Transit Assistance Program and the Association of Mobility Managers have partnered to host and continue this community of practice at the National RTAP Mobility Management Peer Forum. Mobility managers who were previously a part of the Mobility Management Connections platform were given the option to join the new peer forum. Mobility managers who have not already been added to the Forum may email info@nationalrtap.org and request to join. #MobilityManagementMatters

On behalf of TRB, AEM Corporation is leading NCHRP 20-24 (146) Guide to Supporting and Sustaining Transportation Grant Programs for Local Governments and Tribes. They are conducting research to develop resources, tools, and guidance for local governments and tribes to successfully manage the full lifecycle of grant programs. As part of this research, they are hosting a 90-minute targeted stakeholder panel workshop in late February/early March that will serve as a virtual information gathering session with local governments and tribes to identify and discuss what resources they rely on, challenges they encounter, and major gaps in information and resources when applying for and managing grant projects. We are targeting participation from a wide range of local and tribal agencies, specifically those who have not been successful in securing grant funding and those who have never applied for a grant due to limited information, knowledge, or resources. If anyone would like to participate in this research, they can contact Shule Chen at shule.chen@aemcorp.com. Agencies participating in this workshop will clarify their needs and generate valuable information that will inform the development of a “Grants Toolkit for Local and Tribal Agencies” that they can use to be successful in securing and managing grant projects.

We are proud to be a part of the Transit Retreat once again - it is a great conference! Registration is open now.
As we all get started in 2025, it's time to start thinking about how and where you plan to go for your Transit conferences and educational events. If you're looking for something different where you can be a part of an experience with 40-50 Transit and Mobility partners in a relaxed setting that focuses on small group conversations, networking and engagement then take a look at the Transit Retreat. We will be facilitating our 4th Annual Retreat June 25-26 in beautiful downtown Des Moines, Iowa in partnership with HIRTA Public Transit. We are excited to welcome some of the best Transit Technical Assistance Centers and Associations to the Retreat that will lead our sessions and workshops over the 2-day event. Come engage with National RTAP, Transit Workforce Center (TWC), National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC), CALSTART. Propane Education & Research Council and others for this must attend event. Our primary session topics include 3-hour workshops on ADA Compliance, Alternative Fuel integration, Mobility Management and Workforce Development. If you are a Rural, Small Urban or Demand Response transit provider, you may qualify for a scholarship to offset your costs to attend the Retreat through your State RTAP program. Transit leaders from PA, MD, NY, NV, IA, NE and OH are already registered so don't wait too long as we do limit total attendance to 150 people so that we can ensure an atmosphere that supports open conversations. This is how Transit engagement with peers, national partners and vendors should be and is backed up by our 98% rating from past attendees who indicated they would attend a future Retreat. Oh and we have a limited number of GSA equivalent hotel nights for those that qualify for this discounted rate. Reach out to me directly if you'd like to chat and see if the Transit Retreat is a good fit for you! You can learn more and register on our website. See you in Des Moines!! www.transitretreat.org
