Through the ACR 848 Bottomland Forests of Louisiana Plains project, NativState has completed the verification and release of over 400,000 carbon credits, conserving 20,000 acres of sustainably managed forests in Louisiana and Mississippi. As NativState Founder and CEO Stuart Allen shares: “NativState began with a vision of providing access for small landowners to engage in the global Voluntary Carbon Market. Our unique aggregation model is making that vision a reality. Together, we are building healthier forests, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.” This project marks NativState’s first verified project in Louisiana or Mississippi, with projections of over 2,000,000 credits to be available over the full 40 year project.
