🎤 Meet our Pitch Slam judges! Join us on May 15th as these six individuals offer their expertise to some of Austin’s up-and-coming CPG entrepreneurs. We are so grateful to have this incredible panel of experts. Aryan B. - Aryan is on the investment team at Dream Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund investing from Pre-Seed to Series A. Prior to joining Dream, Aryan was an Analyst in Cowen’s investment banking division. Aryan also co-founded an ed-tech marketplace while in college and received a BBA from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business. Anish Sheth - Anish Sheth is an Operating Partner at Redbud Brands, advising Redbud portfolio companies on sales, marketing and operations, and evaluating investments for Redbud Ventures. Anish brings an extensive background in founding, scaling and leading CPG businesses. He most recently co-founded a data analytics company that focuses on interpreting disparate data from various CPG data sources to drive sales, operations and investor relations. Stephen Daubert - Stephen is Managing Director of Westlake Asset Management. Westlake is a lower-middle market buyout firm focused on food, beverage, and business services sectors. Stephen spent the previous decade with Echo Capital Group, the Hot Pocket's family office, focused on investing across the food value chain. Kelly Spillane - Kelly’s passion has always been in the food and beverage world. Most recently she was recruited by Whole Foods Market as an Investment Principal, to invest in high-potential food and beverage suppliers and to lead the investments in whole Foods’ LEAP accelerator program company graduates. Beth Gilbert - Beth Gilbert is Sam’s Club’s Senior Merchant for Condiments. Prior to Condiments, Beth spent time buying Beverages (Juice) as well as Televisions. Beth started her retail career at Kimberly Clark where she held various sales and category management positions supporting Walmart and the grocery channel. Ademote Thumbutu- Ademote Thumbutu is an accomplished leader currently spearheading strategic initiatives for the Sam’s Club merchandising organization. A finance graduate from the University of Arkansas @ Pine Bluff, Ademote embarked on his professional journey at Walmart in 2007.
