The North Central IPM Center is one of four regional centers that champion the development and use of integrated pest management: the science of managing insects, diseases and weeds while protecting people, the environment and economy. The Center serves as the hub for multi-state partnerships and communication networks that link researchers, farmers, extension educators, commodity organizations, environmental groups, pest control professionals, and government agencies in the North Central region.
