Good insights from the newest PRSA Chair as we look to this new year.
"I have a passionate belief that those of us who operate in this profession, including PRSA, need to move at the speed of news. We need to be immediate in how we respond to each other, and how we respond to issues from an advocate standpoint to increase our speed."

Prepare to party...and bring an unwrapped toy to help boost the spirits of children in need!
We're counting down to the NCPRSA Annual Meeting and Holiday Social and hope to see you there - bearing gifts for Zach’s Toy Chest, a worthy cause that donates new toys and more to pediatric cancer patients ages 0 to 18.
A well-stocked toy chest ensures that every patient has a gift for holidays, and we aim to help by collecting little something to serve as a reward for their courage in fighting cancer and other critical illnesses.
Zach’s Toy Chest is one of two nonprofits that were part of our PR for Good initiative this year. To show your support, we invite you to donate a new, unwrapped toy to help fight childhood cancer, one toy at a time.
This free event is for NCPRSA members to come together for a night of networking and celebration as we close out 2024. We will also take a moment to recognize our 2024 Board members and announce the 2025 Board.

So proud of my colleagues who worked on this integrated campaign with our client Syngenta for the 2023 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. It was a fun way to highlight the work of golf course superintendents and the challenges they face everyday. Thanks to the North Carolina Chapter, Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) for the recognition!
So excited to report that G&S Business Communications, a G&S Agency and the Syngenta Professional Solutions team won a 2024 Silver Category North Carolina Chapter, Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) InSpire Award and Best in Show for our 2023 GCSAA Conference & Trade Show campaign!
Thank you to the whole team for all of your hard work that went into making this campaign a success, and thank you to the judges for the kind words and recognition of our efforts.
There’s no better way to spend a Friday afternoon than with our friends at the North Carolina Chapter, Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA), attending their 2024 Strategic Communications Conference.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry professionals and explore how technology, culture, and emerging trends are reshaping our field.
We're grateful to have sponsored and participated in this incredible event. Attendees were fortunate to learn from our talented colleagues, who shared their expertise: Tori Ludwig on building trust through hyperlocal communication and Anna Beth McCormick on empowering the next generation of PR professionals.
Thank you, NCPRSA, for an enlightening day and for keeping us ahead in this ever-evolving industry. We’re already looking forward to next year’s conference!
PS – Thanks, also, to a good portion of E&V colleagues who held down the fort for those who attended.
