De-stressing leaders | Non-conventional methods for lasting results

What are you waiting for? More time? Less stress? More money? The New Year? Let me tell you something you already know deep down. There is no “perfect time”. If you’re feeling stuck… If you’re caught in the same unhelpful cycles… If you’re exhausted and just about surviving… But you’re waiting for the ‘right time’ to take action... It’s time to stop waiting. One of my clients recently: - Cleared out & sold her mother's house - Sold her own home - Bought a new one and moved - Dealt with some intense family situations …All while going through my Reconnect Program.  Our sessions became her valuable ‘me’ time and helped her navigate the chaos. Most of my clients aren’t waiting for life to slow down. They’re busy professionals, parents, and entrepreneurs juggling demanding careers, family responsibilities, and the curveballs life throws at them. But they’ve chosen to invest in themselves, process the weight of the past, and create a path forward that gives them greater clarity and ease. And so can you. Don’t wait for the “right time.” It doesn’t exist. I want to help 2 more people get started before Christmas. Interested? Send me a message. Love Neena

De-stressing leaders | Non-conventional methods for lasting results

If you’ve ever felt like something’s wrong with you because you’re “overly reactive,” “hyper-aware,” or “always on edge”? This is for you: You are not broken. You have adapted. If you believe that you’re broken. It represents another problem to overcome. But if you accept that your nervous system protects, everything shifts. Because here’s the truth (rooted in polyvagal theory): You’ve adapted before - you can adapt again. One of my clients recently told me, “I feel like me again”.  That’s the feeling I want for you, too. This is about learning to feel safe in your skin again, which goes beyond just surviving. It means: 💕 Feeling safe  😍 Being yourself 🧚♀️ Showing kindness to yourself And always remember: You are not broken. You’ve been stronger all along than you’ve ever given yourself credit for. P.S. Send me a message -  I can help you.

De-stressing leaders | Non-conventional methods for lasting results

One of the most powerful ways to de-stress and calm yourself… Is to be around someone who helps you feel safe and supported.  It could be a friend, family member, coworker or animal. This is known as co-regulation. 🍃 Co-regulation is our nervous system's way of seeking safety and connection through interaction. 💕 It’s not just about talking to someone, but about BEING with someone.  In their presence!   P.S. Find 3 reasons why co-regulation matters in the comments.

De-stressing leaders | Non-conventional methods for lasting results

Sometimes, the most profound shifts happen when we stop running from our emotions.   We’re taught to silence our feelings. To bury discomfort deep within. To just keep going.   Even though scary… Anger, sadness, or grief can feel overwhelming. Like we might never come out the other side.   But when we allow ourselves to turn towards those feelings, And start to feel them - they lose their grip.   What once felt unbearable starts to move… and with it, the places we’ve felt stuck begin to shift.   This is your reminder that facing your emotions isn’t a weakness. Your emotions are signals that need to be heard.   It’s the gateway to growth and the builder of our emotional resilience. I help my clients increase their capacity to feel, process and express their emotions safely.  ❤️ Share this with someone who may need it to read it. 💪 Love, Neena

De-stressing leaders | Non-conventional methods for lasting results

What if…anxiety isn’t just in our mind? What if…it’s an alarm in our body? We often think of anxiety as purely mental: 👀 racing thoughts 💭 overthinking 🪢 worry But it’s more than that. It’s your body signaling that something feels unsafe or out of balance. What if, instead of fighting it, we started listening to it? It’s not about silencing the alarm. It’s about understanding why it’s even ringing. When you address the root cause, the alarm doesn’t need to scream that loud. Dr. Russell Kennedy's book Anxiety Rx explains the neuroscience behind this really nicely. ⏰ Ready to address the root of alarm in your body (or anxiety)?  Find the link in my featured section and book a call.

Watching a sunset… Listening to music… Enjoying a cup of coffee… These moments may seem tiny, but they help us shift our body into a state of safety, activating the "rest and digest" (parasympathetic) nervous system. In this state, our body can relax and heal. 🕊️ Noticing small joys trains our nervous system to shift from stress to calm with greater ease. These tiny moments of joy are known as "glimmers," a term coined by Stephen Porges, the creator of polyvagal theory, in 1995. Glimmers are everywhere. ✨ Here’s a simple way to start noticing them: This week, spot one glimmer each day. Notice how it makes you feel—emotionally and physically. Take a moment to appreciate it. Love, Neena
